Derrinacahara N.S  

We had a visit from one of our own very own superstars this week! Due to unforeseen circumstances we couldn’t celebrate Mrs. Crowley’s retirement the way we would have liked! However we were so glad to have her visit this week, everyone’s face lit up the moment they saw her! She was so kind to call for a chat and brought us all along a little gift too! We presented Mrs. Crowley with some gifts out in the yard and sang her some Christmas songs! We thank Gabrielle for everything she has done for us. For the great teacher, principal, mentor and friend she is. Derrinacahara isn’t the same without her but we’re sure she is enjoying her free time in the  ‘Centre of the Universe’! Míle Buíochas!

An emotional day in Derrinacahara today on the day of Anne’s retirement. Anne has been working in Derrinacahara for 18 years and we cannot thank her enough for the kindness she has shown to each one of us. We wish Anne the very best of luck in her retirement and hope she enjoys her well deserved rest and time with her friends and family.
