Bhí an-oíche againn ar an 5ú lá de Mhí na Nollag! What a wonderful, wonderful night we had at the Derrinacahara N.S. Christmas concert. Infants, 1st and 2nd classes opened our show with their musical ‘Little Angel Gets His Wings’. This was followed by a drama entitled ‘You really need a wife’ , written by Nora Scannell. And to close the show then we had the entire school singing some Christmas carols and playing their tin whistles accompanied by Carol O’Driscoll on keyboard and Paul Harley on guitar. Ar son na muinteoirí go léir, ba mhaith liom a rá go bhfuilimid chomh brodúil as na páistí go léir. Bhí siad ar fheabhas! We, as teachers and SNAs are so proud of the children at Derrinacahara N.S. So talented in many ways but more importantly, caring, kind and courteous to each other.
